There’s no shortage of Bonfire Night and fireworks displays this year, with Leeds City Council organising half a dozen events across the city. These are complemented by parties large and small offering the chance to eat, drink, listen to live music and warm yourself by the fire while the night sky is filled with colours.

Here’s where you can find a display near you:

Thursday November 5

Join tens of thousands of others for what is considered the biggest and most popular firework display in the city, held in Roundhay Park’s Soldiers Field.

Bonfire Night at The Mustard Pot
With only a limited garden, the Mustard Pot in Chapel Allerton admits that it cannot host the most spectacular fireworks display. However, it plans to make up for this lack of grandness with a bonfire, homemade chilli, pie and peas, Yorkshire parkin and winter Pimms.

The Mustard Pot Bonfire Night. From 6pm. The Mustard Pot, 20 Stainbeck Lane, Chapel Allerton, Leeds, LS7 3QY.
